30 Days Alcohol Free

Well, yesterday marked the last day of my self inflicted 30 day alcohol free challenge. I’m pretty darn proud that I went a whole 30 days without taking one sip of anything containing alcohol.

Let me tell you, these 30 days have been worth it!! I feel better, I slept so much better and as of this morning my weight is down 15 lbs (5 since January and the remaining 10 since March 31st). I also have people at work complimenting me on how “radiant and fresh” I look (which is easy to pull off when you’re hydrated and not sleep deprived 😜).

If you’re thinking about challenging yourself, in any capacity, do it! Anybody can do anything for 30 days.

Does this mean I will quit drinking altogether? No, but at least these past 30 days allowed me the opportunity to rethink my relationship with alcohol so for that I’m most thankful.
